In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Lawton, Oklahoma, the life of 24-year-old Daveon Smith was tragically cut short. On August 13, 2024, Smith was at a Casey's gas station when he was shot multiple times. First responders arrived at the scene around 12:40 a.m. and found Smith with critical injuries.
