In the autumn of 1999, a sense of unease settled over Lawton, Oklahoma, as 25-year-old Cassandra Lee Ramsey, a female, vanished without a trace. She was last seen on October 10, 1999, and for months, her whereabouts remained a haunting mystery. The search for Cassandra came to a grim conclusion on March 22, 2000, when her nude body was discovered submerged in water beneath a bridge in a rural stretch of Jefferson County.
