Linda Faye Sutherlin, a 21-year-old woman, was tragically killed on November 4, 1971, in Brazoria County, Texas. Her death was the result of a brutal murder, in which she suffered 72 bullet wounds to her back, shoulders, and legs. The case was part of a larger investigation into the deaths of six women in Montgomery, Harris, and Brazoria counties, though only one conviction was secured in connection with Sutherlin's murder.
