Sondra Ramber, a 14-year-old girl, vanished from her home in Santa Fe, Texas, on October 26, 1983. She lived with her father, who reported her missing the following morning. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance were unusual—her father recalled that they had breakfast together, and when he returned home later that evening, the door was open, and biscuits were still baking in the oven.
