Hugh Campbell Scrutton, a 38-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically killed on December 11, 1985, in Sacramento, California. Scrutton was the owner of a computer rental store and was in the parking lot of his business when he noticed an object that appeared to be trash. As he bent down to pick it up, the object exploded, instantly killing him.
