On June 15, 2022, at approximately 10:22 PM, Detwarn Buntun, a 23-year-old resident of Sacramento, California, was tragically shot while seated in a parked vehicle on the 3000 block of Ponderosa Avenue in North Sacramento. The incident occurred when an unknown assailant opened fire on the vehicle, striking Buntun. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Buntun succumbed to his injuries, marking a devastating loss for his family and the community.
