In the summer of 2005, a string of violent home invasions targeting the elderly cast a shadow of fear over the city of Baltimore. One of the victims of this brutal crime spree was Carlton Crawford, an 82-year-old disabled man. On August 21, 2005, his life was tragically cut short when an intruder forced his way into his residence.
