Taylor McNeil, a 13-year-old African American boy from Pompano Beach, Florida, was murdered on May 5, 1966. His death was part of a series of brutal killings committed by Leon Holston, a convicted child murderer who had previously been sentenced for similar crimes. Holston, who lived in the same neighborhood as Taylor McNeil, had a history of violent offenses against young boys.
