In the spring of 1998, Jason Knapp, a 20-year-old male student at Clemson University, vanished without a trace, leaving behind a mystery that has endured for decades. The young man, who was studying mechanical engineering, was last seen by his roommates on the evening of Saturday, April 11, 1998, at his apartment near the Clemson campus. He had been in good spirits, having recently been inducted into the elite Pershing Rifles ROTC unit and was excited about his future.
