In the early hours of May 20, 2023, the life of 21-year-old Logan Nathaniel Markis Williams of Anderson, South Carolina, was tragically cut short in Clemson. Williams, a male, was discovered inside a vehicle on Old Greenville Highway with a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers who responded to the scene at approximately 12:39 a.m. attempted to perform life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. It was noted by authorities that Williams was not a student at Clemson University.
