In a tragic turn of events on a late Tuesday night in June 2007, a young man's life was cut short in South St. Louis. Nineteen-year-old Terry Quarles, a male, was walking with two friends in the 2800 block of Nebraska when they were suddenly approached by an assailant. In the ensuing moments, chaos erupted, and Quarles was shot three times in the leg.
