In the winter of 1981, the city of Lansing, Michigan, was unsettled by a series of violent crimes that targeted elderly women. On November 30th of that year, 79-year-old Denise Swanson became a victim in this string of brutal attacks. Her life was tragically cut short, leaving a community in fear and a family in mourning.
