Koi Green, a 5-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on September 21, 2016, in what was later determined to be a horrific case of domestic violence. She, along with her 4-year-old sister, Kaleigh Green, was poisoned with carbon monoxide inside a vehicle parked outside their home in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Their step-siblings, Chadney Allen, 19, and Kara Allen, 17, were shot to death in the basement of the home by their stepfather, Gregory Green.
