In the cold winter of 2000, the community of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, was unsettled by a grim discovery. On January 2nd, the body of 39-year-old Wendy Jordan, a female, was found in the Rouge River. The man who reported the discovery was John Eric Armstrong, a former United States Navy sailor who had recently enrolled in a local college. Armstrong claimed he found Jordan's partially clothed body while he was sick and leaning over a bridge.
