Cynthia Brooks, a 27-year-old Black/African American woman from Philadelphia, was one of seven women whose deaths became part of the grim “House of Death” case involving Harrison “Marty” Graham in North Philadelphia. Her remains were identified after police entered Graham's third-floor apartment in August 1987, a squalid residence where the odor of decomposition had become impossible for neighbors and the landlord to ignore.
