On June 12, 1995, Millicent 'Peanut' Jones, a 25-year-old Black woman, was found deceased in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. She was one of several victims in a series of homicides that occurred between December 1994 and June 1995. Jones, along with other women, was targeted by a serial offender who employed a method of asphyxiation that left minimal physical evidence.
