On October 11, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred on the West Side of Chicago, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Jasmine King. The incident took place around 9:40 p.m. in the 200 block of North Kedzie Avenue, where three women were shot.

Jasmine King and the other two victims were found on the sidewalk and inside a nearby residence. King suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her death was later ruled a homicide by the Cook C ...
