In the summer of 1973, the life of 22-year-old Doreen Hope Dempsey, a Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in Johnsonville, located in Florence County, South Carolina. Her death was not an accident but a brutal act at the hands of one of South Carolina's most infamous serial killers, Donald Henry 'Pee Wee' Gaskins.
