Doreen Hope Dempsey, a 22-year-old Caucasian woman, tragically lost her life on June 28, 1973, in Johnsonville, Florence County, South Carolina. Her death is linked to Donald Henry Gaskins, infamously known as 'Pee Wee' Gaskins, a serial killer who committed numerous heinous crimes in the region. Gaskins was notorious for his violent and sadistic methods, which included drowning, stabbing, and poisoning his victims.
