On a tragic Friday evening in Andrews, South Carolina, the life of 44-year-old Natasha Sheree Middleton was cut short in a violent act that also claimed the life of her daughter. The incident, which occurred on September 30, 2022, has been identified by authorities as a double murder-suicide.
That evening, a man named Franklyn Felder, 41, from Cades, South Carolina, went to Middleton's home on Laurie Street.
Once inside, Felder shot both Natasha Middleton and her 23-year-old daughter, Gucciyni Sylve. After shooting the two women, Felder turned the gun on himself.
When emergency services arrived, Natasha Middleton was pronounced dead at the scene. Her daughter, Gucciyni Sylve, was transported to a local hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries. Franklyn Felder was also taken to the hospital, where he died from the self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Georgetown County Coroner's Office and the Andrews Police Department investigated the deaths. Their investigation concluded that Felder acted alone in the killings and that the incident was a double murder-suicide. As the sole suspect in the case is deceased, there have been no other arrests or suspects identified in connection with the deaths of Natasha Sheree Middleton and Gucciyni Sylve.
