Death by Force

On October 6, 2007, 17-year-old Andre E. Thomas was murdered while sitting in Spring Valley Park, located at 27th Street and Euclid Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. when a gunman entered the park and began firing at Andre. Andre attempted to flee but was pursued and ultimately shot fatally by the gunman. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Andre succumbed to his injuries soon after.
