David R. Delashmit, aged 78, was tragically killed on October 27, 2007, in St. Louis, Missouri. Delashmit was bringing groceries to his longtime girlfriend's home in the 3700 block of McDonald Avenue when he was attacked. He was found stabbed to death in what appeared to be a violent encounter. The incident shocked both his family and the local community, as Delashmit was a well-loved figure.
