In the cold of a St. Louis winter, a horrific act of violence occurred that would ultimately claim the life of Terri Lynne Lawrence, a 42-year-old Black / African American woman. On December 5, 2007, she was discovered inside a desolate, abandoned building at the intersection of Academy and Ridge.
