John Carlos Barba, a 16-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred during a drive-by shooting in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood. John and another teenage boy, aged 17, were in a vehicle on South Cicero Avenue when a black sedan drove by and someone inside opened fire.
