In the early morning hours of a Friday in St. Louis, tragedy struck 30-year-old Gary L. Canamore, a male resident of the city. At approximately 5 a.m., gunshots shattered the pre-dawn quiet in the 4400 block of Farlin Avenue, a neighborhood situated about five blocks west of Fairground Park. When the violence ceased, Canamore was left critically wounded outside a home in the area.
Though he resided in the 3500 block of the same street, his life would end miles away from his own doorstep.
