Donald Ray Hyden Jr., a 15-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically murdered on August 27, 1979. Donald was last seen in Hollywood, California, at 1:00 a.m. on the day of his death. He was abducted by serial killer William George Bonin, also known as "The Freeway Killer," and one of his accomplices, Vernon Robert Butts. At 11:00 a.m., Donald's body was discovered in a trash bin at the Liberty Canyon offramp of the Ventura Freeway . His body showed signs of strangulation and stabbing.
