On August 17, 2008, 25-year-old Myilan A. Norton was killed in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near Smart Avenue and Bales Avenue, where police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, officers found Myilan, who had sustained fatal injuries. The circumstances surrounding the homicide remain unclear, and it is currently considered an unsolved case.
