Douglas M. Price, a 27-year-old white male, was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation . He was tragically shot and killed on April 25, 1968, near San Antonio, Texas, during an FBI operation aimed at apprehending David Rice Chubb, a fugitive wanted for murder and car theft in California. Chubb had previously escaped from the Bexar County courthouse in San Antonio on February 21, 1968.
