On December 31, 1971, in Corpus Christi, Texas, a tragic incident unfolded resulting in the deaths of multiple family members. Among the victims was Mary Katheryn Whalen, a 3-year-old female. The other victims included Deborah Kaye Whalen, age 12; Kelly Ann Whalen, age 11; Robert Wayne Whalen Jr., age 9; and Robert Wayne Whalen Sr., age 33.
