Carolyn Cantu, a 27-year-old woman from Corpus Christi, Texas, tragically lost her life on August 17, 2018. She was fatally shot along with her mother, 44-year-old Carolyn Pena, in the 2900 block of Mary Street. The incident occurred on a Friday night, and both victims were taken to the hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
