Eloy Flores Gonzales, a 28-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on August 15, 1977, in San Antonio, Texas. Officer Gonzales was a dedicated member of the San Antonio Police Department, having served for four years. On the fateful day, he was flagged down by two women who reported a struggle between a man and their friend.
