Joe Mason, aged 43, was a resident of Houston, Texas, who tragically lost his life on July 1, 1979. He was working as a security guard at a Houston restaurant when he was shot during a robbery. Mason was also an estimator for the Cummus Company and a Reserve Harris County Deputy Sheriff. His dedication to his work and community was evident through his various roles.
