James Aubry Bennatt, a 62-year-old white male, was tragically killed on October 11, 1983, in Fort Bend County, Texas. His death was part of a horrific spree of violence perpetrated by Eliseo Hernandez Moreno, a lawn-mower repairman from Donna, Texas. Moreno's rampage was triggered by estrangement from his wife, Blanca. Over the course of five hours and 130 miles, Moreno killed six people, including James Aubry Bennatt.
