Janice Myrna “Jan” Warriner Arbuckle Smith, a 46-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost her life on June 29, 1984. She was one of six people killed in a shooting spree at Ianni's restaurant and club in Dallas. The incident occurred early in the morning when the shooter, angered by a woman who spurned his advances, opened fire on club patrons.
