Billy Mac Fleming, a 36-year-old white male, was murdered on April 12, 1985, in Hull, Texas. Fleming, who worked as a junior high school football coach, was found dead in a remote section of the Big Thicket, a dense and isolated area in Southeast Texas. His body was discovered with two gunshot wounds to the head, indicating a cold-blooded execution. The murder was particularly shocking to the small community due to its brutal nature and the underlying motives involving a love triangle.
