Douglas Scott Zykowski, a 26-year-old male, tragically lost his life on January 19, 1990, in Sutton County, Texas. He and his newlywed wife, Patricia Walsh, had left Seattle, Washington, in November 1989 to hitchhike to Georgia for a religious workshop. On their way back, they accepted a ride near El Paso, Texas, and were reported missing by their families after failing to make contact.
