Jeffery Dean Ginn, a 29-year-old male officer with the Pasadena Police Department in Texas, tragically lost his life on July 10, 1991. Officer Ginn was responding to a disturbance call at a residence on Pecan Drive, where a man was burning marijuana leaves in a barbecue pit. Unbeknownst to Officer Ginn, the resident was a former mental patient who had previously made threats against the police department.
