John Perry, a 30-year-old Black male, lost his life in the line of duty on December 16, 2008, in St. Louis, Missouri. A Deputy U.S. Marshal, Perry was part of a dedicated team of approximately ten U.S. Marshals and St. Louis police officers who arrived at a residence on Osage Street in the early morning hours, around 6:50 am.
