In the late hours of a Thursday night in St. Louis, Missouri, the life of 22-year-old Avion J Polk was tragically cut short. On April 23, 2015, at approximately 11:15 p.m., police responded to calls of a shooting at the intersection of Vandeventer and Evans avenues.
