Death by Force

On May 29, 1994, Eduardo Lopez, an 18-year-old Hispanic male, was working at Danal’s Food Store located at 3900 Hemphill Street in Fort Worth, Texas. During his shift, a Hispanic male entered the store armed with a handgun and directed the manager to the office where the safe was located. As Eduardo Lopez approached the assailant, he was shot and killed. The perpetrator then placed the manager in a storage freezer before fleeing the scene.
