Amy Sue Kruegs Krueger, a 29-year-old woman of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost her life on November 5, 2009, at Fort Hood, Texas. She was one of the 13 victims killed in a mass shooting carried out by a disgruntled U.S. Army psychiatrist, Major Nidal Malik Hasan. Amy was preparing to deploy to Afghanistan and was at the Soldier Readiness Center for routine medical processing when the shooting occurred.
