On July 12, 2014, Moises Torres, a 34-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was fatally shot at the Grand Hyatt hotel. Torres, who was reportedly experiencing undiagnosed mental health issues, had been causing a disturbance on the sixth floor of the hotel.
