Ziauddien Sharique Khan, a 44-year-old male of South Asian descent, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2014, in Houston, Texas. Khan was working as a clerk at the FM 529 Smoke Shop when he was shot multiple times by an armed robber who then fled with the cash drawer. Khan was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
