Rita Joyce Salton, a 43-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on October 6, 2014. She was shot multiple times as she was leaving her home in the 12200 block of Thicket Green Lane to go to work. Rita was a hardworking individual who was well-regarded by her family and friends.

The investigation into Rita's death revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Damon Jonard James, was the prime suspect. James, who was 41 years old at the time, was arrested the day after the shooting. ...
