Cristhian Eduardo Cardozo, a 35-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on December 10, 2014, in Stafford, Texas. Despite Lara's gang affiliation, officials stated that the murder did not appear to be related to any gang business. Lara was found guilty by a jury in Fort Bend County and was sentenced to life in prison.
