On January 4, 2021, 22-year-old Camerron Long was found shot on the side of the road near a gas station in Stafford, Texas. According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, Long was involved in a shootout and was hit multiple times. Surveillance video from the On The Go convenience store showed two groups meeting outside the store and exchanging gunfire.
Long was taken to Sugar Land Methodist Hospital, where he later died.
The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred just before midnight, and Long was one of the individuals involved in the altercation.
