On the evening of May 30, 1993, 18-year-old Charlye Dixon and her fiancé, 19-year-old Jason Hampton, were parked at a lakeside "lovers' lane" in Ware County, Georgia. Unbeknownst to them, Billy Daniel Raulerson Jr. approached their vehicle.
