In the late spring of 1993, the lives of two teenagers were tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence. On the evening of May 30th, 19-year-old Jason Hampton and his 18-year-old fiancée, Charlye Merinda Dixon, were spending time together at a lakeside lovers' lane in Ware County, Georgia. Their peaceful evening was shattered when a man named Billy Daniel Raulerson approached their pickup truck.
