On December 14, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas, 50-year-old Hispanic male Arturo Muniz and his brother, 48-year-old Rafael Muniz, were fatally shot during an early morning incident on the city's West Side. According to their sister, Laura Diaz, the brothers were attempting to intervene as good Samaritans to break up a fight between two men when the shooting occurred.
