On the afternoon of September 9, 2010, authorities in Kansas City, Missouri, were alerted to a shooting incident in the 1200 block of Brooklyn Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 12:28 p.m., where they discovered a male victim unresponsive at a local bus stop. Emergency responders arrived shortly thereafter, but the individual had already succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
