On October 5, 2015, Hoang Vuong, a 35-year-old man of Vietnamese ethnicity, was tragically killed in an apparent murder-suicide incident at the Hong Kong Food Market in Houston, Texas. Vuong, who worked as a supervisor in the warehouse, was shot by Thanh Duong, a fellow employee, before Duong turned the gun on himself. The motive behind the shooting remains undetermined, as investigations by the Houston Police Department have not revealed any clear reasons for the attack.
